Managing several shops

One account can manage several shops: a second point of sale, a branch in another town. Each keeps its own accounts, with a single subscription.

The principle

Each shop is independent: its products, stock, cash, sales, suppliers, customers and sellers are its own. What is shared is the owner and the subscription.

The number of shops allowed depends on the plan; it is shown at the top of the My shops page. Managing shops is reserved for the account's primary administrator.

Creating a new shop

  1. Menu Settings › My shops, then New shop.
  2. Enter its name and location.
  3. Choose how to start its catalogue: Start from scratch (no products), or copy products from the current shop by ticking the ones you want.
  4. Create shop. You find yourself in the new shop.

When you copy products, only the name and prices are copied, with stock at zero. After that, each shop manages its products separately: changing a price in one changes nothing in the other.

An active subscription is needed to create a shop.

Switching from one shop to another

In My shops, Open this shop makes you work in the chosen shop. Everything you do afterwards (sales, stock, closing, reports) concerns that shop only. Its name is shown at the top of the menu: check it before entering anything.

Sellers and cashiers are attached to one shop: they do not see the others.

Sending stock from one shop to another

From a warehouse, Transfer to another shop moves goods into a warehouse of another of your shops. The quantity joins the product with the same name; if it does not exist in the destination shop, it is created there with the same prices. No sale or cash movement is recorded. See Stock, warehouses and transfers.

The subscription

The subscription is managed from the Main shop and covers all the others. If you open the subscription page from another shop, the application takes you back to the main one.

Closing and reopening a shop

Close puts a shop out of service: nobody can work in it any more. Nothing is deleted: its products, sales and customers are kept, and it no longer counts in your plan's limit.

It is then found in Closed shops, from where Reopen puts it back in service, if your plan still has a free place. The main shop cannot be closed.
