Commissions and payouts
A commission arises with each subscription payment from one of your shops. It goes through three statuses before reaching your Mobile Money.
The calculation
The commission is a percentage of the displayed price of the plan chosen by the shop. It applies to each payment: a first rate during the first period (counted from the shop's first payment), then a second, lower rate for as long as the shop stays subscribed.
Example. Your terms: 5% discount for the shop, 25% commission for 12 months, then 10%. The shop chooses a $20 plan. It pays $19 the first time ($20 minus 5%): your commission is $5, calculated on the displayed $20. During the first twelve months you earn $5 per monthly payment; after that $2 per payment, for as long as the shop stays subscribed.
These figures are an example. Your percentages and duration are those shown on your dashboard. If they are changed, the new terms apply to later payments: commissions already calculated do not change.
The statuses of a commission

|---|---|
| Pending | The shop has just paid. The commission stays pending for 7 days, the time to make sure the payment is not cancelled. |
| Due | The 7 days have passed: Boutixy owes you this amount. |
| Paid | The amount has been paid to you. |
| Cancelled | The shop's payment was cancelled during the 7 days: the commission is not due. |
My commissions lists each commission with the shop, the amount paid by the shop, your rate, your commission, its status and the date it becomes due.
Payouts
Boutixy pays due commissions to your Mobile Money number once a month, on the date shown on your dashboard. The payout happens if your balance due reaches the threshold shown; below it, the balance is carried over to the next month. With each payout:
- you receive a notification in your area;
- the commissions concerned move to the paid status;
- the payout appears in My payouts, with its amount, the payment method and the transaction reference.
Compare the reference shown with your operator's SMS. If they differ, write to the team giving the date and the reference.
Without a Mobile Money number in your profile, no payout can be made to you. Enter it as soon as your application is approved.
The rule to follow
Opening a Boutixy account is free. A partner who asks a merchant for mandatory Boutixy fees is banned: they can no longer sign in, their code no longer works for new sign-ups and their unpaid commissions are frozen. The shops they brought keep working normally.
Suspended account
If your partner account is suspended, a banner tells you so: you earn no commission during the suspension. Commissions already due remain due. Write to the Boutixy team to learn the reason and what to do.
